Statement:
The artist inhabits life on a flat surface of paper. With the help of a surgical blade, creates a magical image, a dowry, an illusion, a three dimensional vision "a fingerprint". The paper is a cheap and light material. By driving a high-precision scalpel, capable of carving "life", the fingerprint, a symbol of individuality, breaks its boundaries and transforms the paper into an object of value. Just like life and freedom, a creative struggle towards light, an endless cycle of birth and death.
Greek author, Nikos Kazantzakis' spiritual exercises from the "Saviors of God" have been carefully placed in a sacred and spiral manner, along the lines, "WE COME from a dark abyss, we end in a dark abyss, and we call the luminous interval life. As soon as we are born the return begins, at once the setting forth and the coming back; we die in every moment" (Translated by Kimon Friar).
